Introducing SAGE 1.5 Celer
An early internal iteration of our IDA-based reasoning models, paving the way for advanced efficiency.
Introduction
SAGE 1.5 Celer represents an important internal milestone in our development of hybrid reasoning models. Built upon our IDA-based architecture, this iteration served as a proof-of-concept for integrating complex step-by-step reasoning within smaller model footprints.
While slightly less advanced than our subsequent public releases, version 1.5 demonstrated foundational capabilities that validated our approach to extreme efficiency without sacrificing meaningful problem-solving abilities.
Key Learnings
IDA-based Reasoning
Iterative internal reasoning cycles successfully allowed the model to backtrack on incorrect logic pathways before committing to a final output sequence.
Memory Constraints
We achieved a substantial reduction in inference memory requirements, validating our early hypotheses about localized reasoning limits.
